  • Event: 'Understanding Holistic Medicine'

“Understanding Holistic Medicine” will be the topic of a workshop for students and health care practitioners being held April 26-27 at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital Education Center. The workshop is a presentation by the Mid-Atlantic Holistic Health Institute and will feature R. Keith Bell, local acupuncturist and leader in the field of Holistic Medicine. The workshop is designed to provide participants with a foundation in the various areas of Holistic Medicine with emphasis on using this knowledge in the practice of conventional medicine. The workshop will be 8:00am- 6:30 pm on April 26 (lunch provided) and 8:00am-12:30 pm on April 27. Continuing education credit is available- 1.2 CEU's/12 contact hours. Registration is available online at www.omspc.com. April 18 is the deadline for registration.

Vernon Farm, in Sperryville that raises free range grass fed animals as an alternative to environmentally destructive factory farm "meat." Q&A will follow each speaker's presentation.
